What level do you need to be to unlock the Island Sanctuary in FFXIV?

Players only need to be level one. However, you must also be at a certain point in the main scenario questline. 

Where do you unlock the Island Sanctuary in FFXIV?

To unlock the Island Sanctuary in FFXIV, players must visit Old Sharlayan (X:11.9 Y:11.0) and talk to Clueless Crier. Players can travel to their island sanctuary at any time by heading to Lower La Noscea (X:24.9 Y:34.8) and speaking with Baldin. 

Do you need to finish the Endwalker Expansion to unlock the Island Sanctuary?

As mentioned, players must be at a certain point in the main scenario quest. Players must complete the “Endwalker” MSQ to unlock Island Sanctuary. 

Do you have to unlock gathering or crafting classes to enter the Island Sanctuary?
