FIFA 23 release date and new features

After FIFA and EA sport have broken off their relationship, we still don't know what direction the series will go on next, what we do know for sure, is that their final game will be called FIFA 23, the last game that will be associated with FIFA.

FIFA 23 Release date

While some FIFA 23 has been released already in some countries, however the worldwide initial release date for FIFA 23 is currently Friday, September 30. This game will include a new game mode for official and enthusiast gamers. Early access is available through the ultimate edition and EA Play, where you can have 10 hours of trial time.

What is new in FIFA 23 ?

What is interesting is the cover for FIFA 23, PSG player Kylian Mbappe is once again the star of the game. In addition, Australian footballer Sam Kier will appear on the cover in Australia and New Zealand, however, in the ultimate edition game, both stars will appear on the cover.

FIFA 23 Crossplay

EA has confirmed that FIFA 23 will support crossplay. They say players will be able to play one-on-one with their friends, against each other online, and find opponents on Pro Clubs in the future. However, it's important to note that Players on PS4, and Xbox One systems, can play against each other. and players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC can play against each other across all three systems.

So it means sadly, players on PS4 consoles can't play against players with PS5 consoles.

HyperMotion2 Technology

HyperMotion is an advanced gameplay technology that was first introduced in FIFA 22, but now it's been improved, with double as much match data capture unlocked new features, and brought over 6000 authentic animations, to be included in the newest edition of FIFA 23. Which includes :

Advanced 11v11 Match Capture
Full Team Authentic Motion
Technical Dribbling
Composed Ball Striking

and more, to note also, this technology is not available for the older consoles like PS4.

FIFA 23 Career Mode

EA has announced a lot of changes to Career Mode this year, including player career.

with new features coming like playable highlights which lets you choose the plays and calls that define the game, and Dynamic moments which allow you to take special moments from your career and live them out as if they were a movie. One of these will be a point in time when the player is transferred to another team.

regarding the Manager Career Mode, EA didn't add anything overly significant to Manager Mode compared to last year.
